Machine Sewing
- Use Thread Heaven to reduce skipped stitches and
broken thread in high speed sewing like machine embroidery. See our
How to Use page for instructions.
- Use Thread Heaven anytime you are sewing with
silk or rayon thread. It will reduce skipped stitches without dulling
the sheen.
- For a continuous application of Thread Heaven,
pinch off a BB-sized piece from the container and place it directly
into one of the thread guides. Use a guide located after your tension
mechanism or the reduced friction on the thread may require increasing
the tension setting.
- Thread Heaven is an excellent lubricant and will
help keep your machine running smoothly.
- Thread Heaven is a godsend when sewing slinky knits. Even with a new
correctly sized needle and appropriate thread, skipped stitches do occur. I
place a pea sized wad of the heavenly gunk on the thread guide above my
needle---no more skipped stitches and it is easy to wipe off. Tip from Marijo Rymer
