Look at the Sky

Description: 15" by 21", machine pieced from cotton fabrics, with machine quilting and thread painting using metallic and varigated cotton threads. Each bead was stitched indivually using a polyester beading thread that I conditioned with Thread Heaven.

How Thread Heaven helped: Thread Heaven makes threading my size 11 straw needles a breeze! Because I stitch each bead on by hand, I count on Thread Heaven to prevent my thread from tangling. I have several containers that I leave near my machine and near the chair where I sit to do handwork.

I am a huge fan of Thread Heaven and have used it in my quilts for many years. When I moved to Florida I talked my local quilt shop into stocking it for me.
